Travel & Stay
Getting There
The nearest airport is Lisbon (LIS). There are direct flights from both Dublin and New York.
Getting Around
An Uber from Lisbon Airport works well. It's about a 40 minute drive to the venue and ~55 minutes to Sesimbra.
If you'd like a car for the weekend, renting one is very cheap. We usually use Sixt, and Europcar is good too.
Where to Stay
We recommend staying in Sesimbra, a lovely seaside town where we'll be hosting welcome drinks on Friday evening. It's only a 15 minute drive to the venue for Saturday and Sunday.
A great option right on the water is the Sesimbra Oceanfront Hotel.
Feel free to look around this location for alternatives also. We stayed in an air bnb a few minutes walk from hotel last summer and it was lovely, but it didn't have access to a lift down to the beach, so be ready to do a lot of stairs if you opt for an air bnb over a hotel on the water.
